FAQ

Christine Krowzack, DVM - Slaine Irish Wolfhounds

Involvement in the breed:
My involvement with the breed began while I was in veterinary school, when I met my first Irish wolfhound, and fell in love with their sweet, kind dispositions. I have now had wolfhounds since 1982. I occasionally breed, have been fortunate in having had success in the breed ring, but also in lure coursing, and belong to our national club as well as the local club, the Great Lakes Irish Wolfhound Association. With the club, my dogs and I participate in breed education for the wolfhound owner as well as the general public, and public events such as parades. I have had a certified therapy dog, and also one who did commercial and TV ads. The greatest thing my hounds do, however, is being my companions.
