FAQ

Dr. Dick & Lynne Rosebrock - The Hounds of Carroy

Involvement in the breed:
We have been involved with Irish Wolfhounds since 1971. We are fortunate to have been mentored by Lois Thomasson, Fleetwind Kennels, one of the world's authorities on our wonderful breed. In turn, we have mentored others who have joined the IW family.
wolfhound puppies
We are members of the Irish Wolfhound Club of America, The Irish Wolfhound Association of the West Coast and the Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club. Lynne has served in many capacities as officer and director of IWAWC and NCIWC.
In addition we have been active in the Mariposa Dog Training Club and the Yosemite Kennel Club, where Lynne serves as Show Chairman

We show our dogs in conformation and have also competed in lure coursing, and obedience. Several of our dogs have been multi-titlists in various events. In addition, we have participated in Therapy work with our dogs and have enjoyed sharing our dogs with the public in demonstrations at schools, county fairs, Celtic festivals and parades.
