FAQ

Emma Ross, Cnoccarne Irish Wolfhounds, Perm. reg'd

Involvement in the breed:
I saw my first Irish Wolfhound in Ireland in 1961, in 1982 my life long term dream came true and my first IW came home with me and I have never looked back.
Since then I have dedicated my life to all my hounds through the years and helping educate others coming into the breed. I have been a part of Rescue since my early days.

Through careful breeding and planning of my litters, I have produced specialty winners and many hounds who have excelled at lure coursing. My hounds all go back to Irish and English lines.

I have been involved on the board of my national club and the BC Branch for many years, helping host an annual educational weekend each November and our regional specialty every May.

To me, owning an IW is a privilege, not a right. They have always been by my side, they are my strength, my friends and soulmates.
