FAQ

Robin Pline - Tomahawke Kennel

Involvement in the breed:

I have been enamored by wolfhounds for as long as I can remember. Reading about them in books when I was young sparked my love. While in Veterinary Technology school, I had the opportunity to meet some in person. That was when I fell in love with the breed and knew that 'someday' I would have one.

That 'someday' began in 1995 with my first hound 'Bracken'. She was everything that a wolfhound stood for - gentle, loving, great with family. Since then I have been showing, breeding and enjoying living with wolfhounds. The backbone of our breeding program is the focus on wolfhounds themselves as I breed only when we are ready for another puppy in our home. Careful consideration is given in planning for the next generation, and I work closely with people that have taken past puppies into their homes, other breeders and in researching health issues.
