Sid Wood, Arahu Irish Wolfhounds

Involvement in the breed:
For longer than I can remember, I have had a love affair with the Irish Wolfhound. I don't even think I met one until I was around 12 years of age, but even before then, I knew what lay in my future. My husband and I got our first hound in February, 2002. She was a dream come true.

Since then, our pack has grown, along with my knowledge and appreciation of this special breed. Although we compete in conformation (primarily breed specialties) and lure coursing, our hounds are first and foremost our "family" and we spend most of our leisure time with them.
